| 1968 Chevrolet Camaro for sale by Private Seller 1968 Camaro 68 RS/SS 396/375HP, M-21 4-SPEED TRANS. ALL #s matching car, all GM panels. Car has no bondo, magnet will stick solid everywhere. Receipt for body and paint restoration is for 17,000, floor panels, inners everything are new or in new condition and all coated. Body and Paint was frame off restored in 1996 and stills looks the same as day it was done. All the SS trim, door handles, mirrors, marker lights, bumpers, headlights, light bezzels, window trim and rubbers, glass are all brand new in 1996. Total mileage since 1968 is 63,996. Since frame 0ff only 500miles. Cowl hood, power steering, interior is all black leather, new GM door skins, roof liner, carpet, reupholstered seats, new dash, full console with factory built in tachometer in dash, 10disc CD changer hid in the trunk. Motor had all internal parts replaced, heads re-done, roller rockers, bigger cam than stock and a little more compression. With MSD and ignition and demon carb car has an honest 425hp. Spent about 6,000 over hauling motor. Two years ago I had the transmission totally overhauled, new bearings, synkros, seals and third gear. Put a center force dual friction clutch in with a Hurst short shifter. 3,500 touch total. Wilwood disc brake kit in front and drum in rear as car came. All new bushings and steering components. new exhaust, 3.73 gear ratio with a posi trac rear end. This car looks flawless, is straight as an arrow, awesome paint, and runs and handles at least or better than new, interior is awesome... Overall amazing car, it is rock solid. Draws way too much attention!!! Car is all numbers matching but not totally original....but close... Only second owner.
